Default Lvl5 box and power....

I may be getting a lvl5 18'' tomorrow. dual 1.2coils. I am not running a ton of power, I have a ap1800d I was going to run at .6ohm. so being on lower power I was thinking about making the box a little larger. I figured 8 cubes with one 9'' round port at 32hz.... going in a Gen1 blazer and I have the space to do sub and port back.... Look good?

smaller box = less ohm rise ,which = more power, bigger box =more rise ,deeper bass ,but less power

how close to the back wall should I have the port? I know getting it pretty close helps with the lows due to the loading wall but how close?

depends on the car....once you get the box done you can move it around closer/further and see how it sounds

9in port is no where near big enough, especially since it probably wont be flared. You need something like a 10in or 12in (i would recommend the 12in sono). I was going to use a 10in on my level 5 18 and went with slot because 10in diameter tube isnt enough, you will probably have a ton of port velocity.
