Default T/s Parameters on 15" XL m2

I got one of your sexy ass new XL m2's and I'm going to be trying out a regular vented application,4th order and a Quasi 6th order but haven't been able to find out anything on these except that 3.5ft^3 is the recommended air volume for a vented enclosure. If you don't have the T/s , could you answer a few questions for me?
Is the 3.5ft^3 that's recommended, the Net volume?
What should the box be tuned to?
How many In^2 of total Port and/or Per foot should the box have?
What are your thoughts about a vented,4th order & 6th order?

Right now the box I'm building will end up netting 3.51ft^3 tuned to 33hz with 36sq in port(almost 9sq in per foot) and will be firing upwards and vent towards the rear

I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people wanting to know the specs..If they don't come around soon enough then I'm sure someone would send their XL m2 to one of the couple people on this forum that have all the nessicary tools and equip to test it

T/S specs will be done once orders are caught up and things slow down out at DC for the guys to have time to build and test. Right now they are just trying to get caught up on the hundreds of orders that they have to get out.

3.5ft3 net with 14-16in2 per 1 ft3 of port is what is recommended

For a 4th order, 1.5ft3 sealed and 3ft3 ported per sub has worked very well for me with my m2 Xl 15s.

Haha yea I could only imagine how hectic it is trying to get those subs out, they're sellin like hotcakes and I'm lucky to have been able to get my hands on one and lemme tell you..That Kevlar/Carbon dust cap just tops it off lol..

And isn't 14-16" of port ridicliously large? Lol that's like 56sq in of port for a single 15"...the box is going to have to gross 5.5sq ft just to make it lol

Did you like the 4th order or vented enclosure better? And what frequency did you tune the ported side on the 4th order to? Should I shoot for the same 14"-16" sq. In per foot as well or tone it down to 8"-12"sq in per foot?

12-16in2 per 1ft3 is the industry rule of thumb, 8-12 would be way too small and choke the sub. 15in2 per 1ft3 has worked well for me personally.

I love my 4th order, given the choice, I will stay with a 4th order design over standard ported.

The tuning really just depends on you and your vehicle and requires alot of testing. For mine, I have 16in2 of port per 1 ft3 and tuned to 45hz. This gives be a good 25-65hz bandwidth.

If you are slot porting I'd give it around 14sqin of port area per cube. Heck even more if you can, up to say 16sqin per cube. Say 3.5 cubes net, ~14-16 sqin of port, tuned to 33-35Hz.

I came up with a box that has 3.75ft^3 net, tuned to 32.98hz with 15.51sq in per foot of port and 58sq in of port
