Default My DC build '03 trailblazer

Hey everyone just finished my whole DC build, I was hoping to show it off, see how you all like it and hopefully get some feed back, or things I should or could do differently.

'03 Chevy Trailblazer(w/ the third row)

I'm running DCaudio's Lv5 15" with a DCaudio 5k @ 1ohm
I have 3 Deka grp 31s for power supply and a XS power VCM
With a Clarion NX-501 HU with a SoundStream Mp 6xo Line driver for the sub/amp.

The box is 5.99cu with an areo port of 70.88in of port

the pic of amp and batts was a mock up ill put a newer picture up of what it looks like finished.

Hope you like

Looks real nice... that's a big box for a sub on 5k isn't it? In any case, I bet it bangs like crazy!

Cool idea about removing the heater vents for the EQ's...heat and air conditioning are over rated anyway lol. So far looking good bro! I miss my truck already...2004 TB EXT as well. One thing you'll notice is that with our trucks there is a lot of cabin space to pressurize so I'm sure it will be good'n'loud but may not do well on the meter. I wasn't able to break 149 on music and 151.56 on tones.

Looking good though...keep it up!

I'm with you on this one...almost 6 cubes is more for an 18" instead of a 15. Box might not be too efficient being that big. On 5K I'd try more around the 3.5 cubes size and see where that puts ya. Unless there is a good reason for making a box that big while over powering that I haven't learned about yet lol

The box was designed for a '99 jeep grand cherokee and only had bout 3.5k at the time but its an SQ box its only tuned to about 38hz, and ya I miss my ac and heat but whatever its michigan the weathers more bipolar than my pregnant sister so ill survive haha and the line drivers are flat lined so maybe 1 volt boost if that... but ya really think the box is to big? I was thinking of changing my box this summer if I dont get good results.

Oh and when the cars on my voltage is at 14.4 @ idle and 14.7 @ driving

good luck, our stock alts suck...

also just to help you out, in my countless ours playing with a termlab the loudest for me was to have the box 5" away from the hatch.

good luck, these trucks are hard to get loud...
