so in reguards to my post last week (just installed amp and not what it should be. . .) i got my gain all set and everything is correct now on my amp and the voltage draw after about 10seconds is down to 11V (not enough electrical i know i know. i'm working on getting a larger alternator. anyways I was in lab the other day and i figured i would do an amperage draw test on my amp and it is only pulling 80 amps. Granted this was only after 4-5 seconds. Does this seem low for this amp? (btw i'm running a DC 3.5k) I thought i'd be pulling over 110amps of current. i'm not really complaining because i only have a 95amp alt atm and with my current setup i'm doing just shy of 144db. i'm just curious if this seems low

Im just gonna guess that the 80a draw that you got was incorrect. If the amps was only drawing 80a, then your drop most likely wouldnt be down into the 11s. I would venture to guess that you are drawing about 150a.
