Default New hoe coming Ideas?

Its been a while for me... been really busy with work... but Saturday hopefully im picking up a new Tahoe and well I need bass! BIG TIME

my last setup if anyone remembers was a suburban with a single 18" triple SS XXX off a addictive audio 500.1 in a 6th order series tuned behind the 3rd row set.. being theres no 3rd row this time I have slightly more room ideas?

amp I will be more then likely using will be a crossfire XS 8k

http://www.crossfirecaraudio.com/product/xs-amplifiers/

im thinking a level 6 18? thoughts? im hearing rumors the 6s aren't lasting very long any truth? is the carbon option worth it for me?

Do you still want to do a bandpass enclosure with 1 18"?

What was the ratio of the last enclosure?

Soundstrea, xxx 18 setup

here was my previous build.

Hexibass designed the box. Yes I would like to keep the bandpass for the wide bandwidth and efficiency

Ahh, sexy.

Will you be utilizing the same design for the new enclosure?

that box is long gone. I still have the design but being I don't have the level ts paramaters I have no clue if the box design will work...

In the suburban I was limited behind the 3rd row (never removed because it had quad bucket sets)

to 36 x 23 x 48

with the hoe being there 3rd row etc I beleaver theres

45 x 25 x 49 so I have more room but I don't think enough for 2 18s in a 6th.. so maybe a more efficient 6th order? with far more power? last setup was loud but I wanna top it

I just skimmed your old post and didn't see it but did you ever get any meter readings of the 18 in a 6th order?

The Level 6's would work in a quasi 6th. I'm guessing you'd want a smaller ration to keep passband relatively large.

I know that the m2 Level 6 18 has been tested and done very well in a 6th order. It probably isnt suited for a 4th order.

Depending on the power that you plan on running, the Carbon Cone can be a very useful option.

Shoot me a PM with any questions you may have and I will be glad to help you out.
