Default goal of 150 help me

First I must say very impressed with my subs I recently purchased 2 18" dual 1ohm lvl3 with lvl4 coils. My setup consists of the subs a box I built 12.65 cubes after displacements tuned at 30. My amp is a massive d8000 so it's [email protected] ohms. My truck is a 2000 escalade. I went to my first comp with all stock electrical no extra batts and a sundown saz1500 and did a 145.7 do u think I can break 150 with the extra power. I now have a 240 amp alt big 3 and 2 batts. It is significantly louder. Will the subs handle the power. I'm a first time dc user and noob competitor. Any help is http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ps2jdp4bwn.jpg

I think the best advise anyone can give you is box development, Keep the power and subs you have, start testing with them ( you will need a termlab) once you know the peak of your ride, then start playing with the port length, changing it 1 inch at a time till it peaks out. that would be the first thing I did to see what your set up will truly do once tuned, then you can add some power to it.

youll need some meter time , seat placement can be worth a fair bit , also the placement of the box , batterys etc can all add up on the meter , also check the box for leaks around the subs

are you going to be using the system daily or make it a comp system to hit numbers?
if daily i would say to make a designated burp box for comps only and install it the day before the comp.

I'll be adding batteries tonite and maybe drive to Austin Friday after work to use my buddies termlab and see where I'm at. The system is a daily setup it's in my wife's escalade since my f250 doesn't have the room lol. I'm probably gonna see if I can have someone design a box for me once I get my power right. Thanx guys there is a comp on April 6th I curious on what it'll do. It's already a lot louder than it was at the last one. But my electrical couldn't keep up with my amp.( it would go into protect) hopefully this will stop that from happening.
