Default dc 5k 4 digital designs 3518

im currently in the process of installing the 4 dds on my 5k wired to one ohm in a 20 hz box this is a daily. set ip im wondering how much power. will. i be feeding. my subs since the shop its at said he cant turn my amp up till after a month when the subs break in my 4 sundown sa15 i was able to hammer on them out the box

DD subs don't not require break in. They will loosen up over time. With 4 subs worth of rise they won't be seeing that much power.

That shop shouldn't be in business if they say you gotta wait a month before turning the volume up. Whatta load of BS!

You don't have to baby the sub but don't go 100% full tilt on brand new soft parts unless you ordered extra soft suspension. They will take the full 5k no prob during break in, then you can throw a second 5k at .5 ohms each if you'd like.

they probably say dont pound on them for 30 days because they dont want to take returns or warranty items lol

They shouldn't be in business for letting him tune to 20 Hz. You'll lose all benefits from the cone area and power tuned that low. Unless it's for Home theater, it's just dumb.
