Default what is a good rms for dc lvl 5 18

well i was thinking on waiting for the lvl 6. but i have made up my mind to get two 18 lvl5 and put them in my s10 and yes i said s10. i am really hard on subs i like to play them all the time. so what do you guys and girls think? and also i will have them for daily subs. thanks

I would say 3-4kw would be plenty. They can definitely take more if you know what your doing.

listening to 8k total on daily basis will hurt alot after awhile

most above (including me) recommend 3-4k a piece. If you only planning on sending 2k to each, then why get lvl 5s, go down to lvl 4 xl or even lvl 4?

lvl 5s are made to take a beating (ask thor^^^). Lvl 6 is made for even more of a beating. Lvl 5s will need the power in order to get them moving. Do you have the electrical for the demand the amps will be needing.
