Default Making the switch over to DC sub's need some advice

I want to redo my sub setup...actually im forced to my L5's blew lol
anyway i need some advice here i want to go for a mixture of sq and spl the install will be gong in the trunk of an 06 nissan sentra the subs will be powered by a jbl gto1400.1 (1200 RMS @ 4 Ohms or 1500 RMS @ 2 Ohms)
now my sub options are either
2 12" Lvl 3's D4 (Series/Parallel @ 4 Ohms)
1 15" Lvl 4 XL D1 (Series @ 2 Ohms)
or just a thought
4 10" Lvl 2's D2 lol (Parallel/Series @ 4 Ohms)
Box is going to be ported
any advice on box setup sub up port back, sub and port back etc. would be greatly apreciated

Cone area ftw should be good with that power too so I vote the lvl 2s

Great choice!! Do two lvl3 12s but get d2's maybe. They are a tad under-rated...or you can upgrade and get lvl4 coils if you ever plan to run more power.

Personally this is the route I would go. I know cone area normally rules all, but I think that in a trunk 2 12's would use the space better than 4 10s.

Although I have seen 4 10s go crazy in a trunk I would still go the 2 lvl 3 12's

By the way I doubt you could fit 4 ported 12s in a trunk regardless of what model they are unless you are severely suffocating them in a tiny box design.

I was thinking the same thing the 4 wouldnt be worth it the box would need to be huge
how many cubes would u guys recomend for a box for 2 lvl 3's and what should i tune it @?
