Default Upgraded coils?

I was wondering what is the advantage to running upgraded coils...such as a level 3 with level 4 coils?
i assume it can handle the power better but i feel like im missing something?

Someone correct me if Im wrong, but say you were to get lvl3s with lvl 4 coils the rated power would go from 600 to probably 800 or so. Lvl 4 with Lvl 5 coils goes from 1000 to 1500. I do have one question though....

What if you put Lvl 5 coils in a Lvl 3?

I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

Why not just give the sub it's RMS rating or buy a sub to match your RMS output.

you do get less motor force with you only change coils rather than just getting the lvl 4.

well if you are like me you are limited by shipping weight so if you can upgrade the coil to increase RMS with out mass increase in weight then its a good idea
