Default DC Neo

Wondering a few things about these woofers.
Anyone with answers fell free to chime in.
What is a reasonable RMS handling for these daily?
Would these be a good daily woofer?
What is the weight of the motor?
Also weight of a 18?
What is the displacement of an 18?

RMS thermal power handling is drastically increased over other levels. No specs have been released though. 2500 rms is the # i would give it as a manufacturer.
It was designed as a daily woofer, so it performs well. A few guys on the forum use them daily or have used them daily.
Weight is approx 10 pounds less then a XL, and displacement is slightly less then a XL of the same diameter sub.

I think it has to do with the cost of a NEO VS. regular magnet. But, I could be wrong. Maybe Rusty, Cody, or thor will chime in.

these can take well above rated rms and they make great daily woofers. i had a pair of 18s that saw over 10k rms daily and they took it no sweat

The weight of the motor has no relation to the price.
Yes with the open motor design it makes it very difficult to heat up the coil. I put a lot of power to it in testing phase to see if i could burn anything..... it barely got warm.

you prolly wont get prices here, they may PM you though. I would also like to know if they are on the higher side or smaller side of enclosures though, and if someone could PM me a price for 18's that would be cool.
