Default Level 4 with level 5 everything getting warm on AQ1200d?

So i was driving home the other day, bumping kinda hard (clipping light blinked on occasion) for about 30 minutes, when i got home i felt the dustcap and it was pretty warm, i'm assuming this is because i was beating for awhile??

Also running my amp on stock electrical (Getting a 100 aH battery soon), would that have any effect?? Or am i just dumb and subs usually get warm when played loud for awhile?

turn down the gain...on stock electrical the voltage could be dropping pretty good. What is it wired to?
Try to upgrade that 4gauge to 0gauge eventaully, that will help. Oh and do the big3 in 0gauge as well

Clipping causes heat

it is wired to 1 ohm, gain is set about 1/4 way up, i have some 0 gauge ordered for the big 3 and plan on picking up a 100 aH battery in the next week or so, so that should help out
