Default DC 7.5k Clamp Results

Here are the rated specs for the 7.5k.

Features Voltage 7.5kw

Output Power (RMS)

at 4 ohm 14.4V 2200W x 1
at 2 ohm 4400W x 1
at 1 ohm 7500W x 1

at 1 ohm 16V 8600W x 1

at 1 ohm 18V 9200W x 1

This test was done in my 2006 Ford F150. I am running 1 Mike Singer 350a alt independently from the stock electrical charging my 5 XS D1400 14v batteries at 16.4v

Voltage started at 16.4v.

Starting impedance is .67ohms

HZ----AMPS----VOLTS----WATTS----OHMS----Voltage Drop

30----.9----96.5----7806.85---1.19----15.2v

35----78.2----100.2---7835.64---1.28----15.2v

40----72.2----103.6---7479.92---1.43----14.1v

45----62.2----107.8---6705.16---1.73----14.7v

50----61.5----106.9---6574.35---1.74----14.7v

For those who were unhappy with the results I got when clamping the 12k in the mini van, I will be testing it in my truck at its full potential this weekend.

Awesome.

Honestly, I figured an increase in power output as you raised the frequency. Or do you attribute that to voltage dropping mostly?

If you will read all of the results you will see that I have more rise on the higher frequencies. This is the cause of lower power output. I would still say that 6500w at damn near 2 ohms is pretty damn good.

I just clamped a 12k on 12 volts and got 6313 watts rising to 1.61 ohms.

10 batteries and 3 300 amp alts..starting voltage was around 14.9

good numbers so guessing at 2 ohms it would be about 5500-6k watts which is way over rated, awesome!

Yup...... I can get the owner of the amp and get a vid of the clamp as well.

When we did it...with rise...my guess was between 6k-7k. I was dead on.

It could have been 1.9 ohms........ but it was somewhere in that area... gonna have to find out when i get home.
