I will update all information I receive for people waiting on their Ethos and Tridents as I receive them. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
The Ethos has received a few changes. I switched to regular chrome because it's a more durable finished.
Machining on the top and bottom plate was redesigned to increase flux flow and reduce weight. It looks like it has about a 10 percent stronger B field and has lost about 10 pounds in weight. The increase in Magnetic force might show up on the meter but won't be enough to make an audible difference in sound. The new and old drivers will work fine together.
Cooling is a bit different and will help a bit for people competing, running over rated power. I believe Sencheezy is running around 4k to his and hasn't blown a coil as of yet. (knock on wood)
All Ethos will come with dual lead wires and I'm using a new 3 piece terminal. Originally on the single leads people running over 2k rms were burning them up.
EVERYONE CURRENTLY WAITING ON ETHOS ARE GETTING THE NEW MACHINED MOTORS.
As of the last update I reveived, the motors were suppose to leave CHina last week. My supplier was expecting to receive them in 20-25 days. Once he receives them he has to charge the motors them then forward to me. If they stay on schedule ( which they haven't so far) I should receive them during the last week of December. Then a few business days to assemble and then ship to customers.
I have had a few cancellations and a few upgrades to Tridents so I have around 20 or so still for sale.
