Default What kind of enclosure is this?

When I was at world finals this past weekend, I seen the subs mounted on a wall, but the whole side was open to where you could see the side of the sub and pretty much walk inside the enclosure. It didn't even looked tuned to any degree, it just looked like the sound reverbed around the box into the cab.

Who knows what I'm talking about?

I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

sounds like a typical ported wall to me, I'm guessing the baffle was super thick? the thickness of the baffle is the port length.

Didnt even have a port though. The port height would have been the height of the cab and width would be the edge of the baffle to the other side of the car.

what he said

the roof, floor, and side of the car act as 3 walls of the port and the edge of the baffle is the 4th wall. the thickness of the baffle is the port length, its no different then a slot ported box that uses the top, side, and bottom of the box as port walls, just on a bigger scale.

Are you asking what it's tuned to?

Was it a burp box? usually with the volume they run port length is very short.
