Default Check my Port specs before i build?

Alright, I'm looking around 7 cubes @ 30hz after displacement from subs and port.

My outer dimensions are 41w, 18.25h, 24d.

Got two port dimensions, 5 inches wide, 16.75 tall, and 17.5 long.

And another is 4 wide, 16.75 tall, and 20 long. Which will give me my desired tuning?

Or if both are wrong can someone help me?

If you go with the first port, it will be 7.46 cubes tuned to 34.75hz and you'll have 11.23 sq in of port per cube.

Using the second port will be 7.49 cubes tuned to 30.01hz and 8.95 sq in of port per cube.

You need to figure the displacement of your subs before doing all this calculating though because it will change airspace and tuning.

Is their anyway i can do 30hz with more port area? because 8.95 per cube sounds like too little to me.

2 OA's should take up 0.38 cubes

If the box is for the OA15's in your sig, after sub displacement, the first box is:
7.08 cubes tuned to 35.67 with 11.83 sq in of port per cube

The second one after sub displacement will be:
7.11 cubes tuned to 30.80 with 9.42 sq in of port per cube

Do you think the 2nd port will have enough port area?

OA only recommended 30 sq per.

I think you should be fine. Why tune so low? These are to be tuned to 32hz is what Nick said.

Maybe. I couldn't tell you that but here's my thread about my box:
How does this look? - Car Audio Classifieds

If you go 22" instead of 20" long, then you'll be at 7 cubes exactly, tuned to 29.94 and 9.57 sq in of port.

Wait, 22 deep port. the whole box is 24. Would it be okay having like 1.25 inches between back and port?
