Default 1 6" vs 3 4" ports?

Hey guys quick question! I'm going to be running 2 12" ia lethal injections in a 4 cube box off a crescendo bc2000 and didn't know what would be better...1 6" psp flared port or 3 4" PVC ports? Looking for an all around daily listener and a little competing. I know the 6" is down on port area but I know that's not as important compared to a slot port. Thanks

3 4" ports is more area which is closer to the rule of thumb with a 4cu box. sometimes smaller port area works well when competing. personally id go with 3 4" pvc's and make sure everything is sealed up good

i say the 6 simply because you'll have flares. thats honestly the only advantage to round ports IMO

Single 6" aero worked just fine in my 4cf box.

I was going to try 3 4" aeros next in my 4cf box. But idk how long it will take before the build starts. Let me know if you try the 3 4" ports and let me know how it goes.

Man I'm running 2 DD z9512s in a 4cube box with a flared 8" aero. Insane!!!! Just food for thought. Tuned at 41hz but goes below 35hz with SQ

Neo+8" aero with alittle fiberglass gives you DBS

thats sick man. i really want to try the 8'' but its going to have to be tuned at 41hz like yours. So it still plays the lows well? also the port is going to be 3 inches away from the back wall...is that going to hurt the performance or make any port noise?

Mine is 12" long. You can make the port as long as you want. Psp have a port calc on their website for easy tuning

I thought you were supposed to have the port 'x' inches away from a box wall, x being port diameter...
