Default DC Level 2 8" D2

My DC Audio Level 2 8" sub was delivered yesterday. Not sure what size box to go with. WinISD wont save the driver data for me.

Regardless goal is SQ. Its a D2 sub so it will probably be seeing about [email protected] bridged on my Twister F6. Pretty sure I want to go ported with this one because of my lack of power to throw at this in a sealed application.

Anyone have any recommendations on a box for this?

Probably wasnt the best choice for an SQ sub. Mainly due to its large magnet/physical size making it hard to work with enclosure wise unless you want to mount it inverted.
Where will the box be? Music type or listening preference?

I won it so I didnt put any money out of pocket. I had great results with a DC Level 4 15" as far as SQ goes.

Box will be in an 08 Caliber. Loads of SS Damp Pro and CCF. Music type is pretty much anything from 3 Doors Down, Nirvana, Queen, to Eminem, Beach Boys. Its really all over the board.

Ill probably be tossing about 200-250wrms at it with my Audio System Twister F6.

Understood. I was not trying to say the LVL2 is a bad driver in any way - just each subs have their purpose generally. The LVL2 has a huge magnet for a little sub. Strong magnet:small piston=peaky driver/small box normally.
The lvl4 isnt so bad as it has a larger cone area and is physically more workable box wise.

Is size a big concern?

Size is a bit of a concern. My Twister amp is so long I think I only have about 15-16" in width I can work with. Im not opposed to mounting it inverted.
