Just to expound a little on my earlier suggestions... keep it simple for now. I tried every
damn thing. From ported to 4th order blowthroughs, isobaric to tlines. I left no stone unturned and that simple 2 cube box, sub up, port to the driver's side for the SA12 is where I landed. It wsan't the loudest setup by far, but it was the easiest, simplest and what became most important... the lightest per decibel.
Your trunk sounds a lot like mine in terms of size. You'd be surprised how quickly 2 cubes will eat up a 6 cube gross trunk when you need to get a batt or batts and amps back there too. Not to mention leaving some room for the pressure to get around the box. The mistake most people with small trunks make is that they try to stuff as much box back there as possible right off the bat. That winds up being counter-productive. There is a point of diminishing returns in terms of box size and when the output starts getting choked. In my trunk, that point was right at 3 cubes.
