It's a abc
Or really a dcr (dual chamber relex)
It has 2 chambers and 3 ports, all 3 ports are the same dimensions and the 2nd chamber, one without the sub, is 1/2 the cf of the chamber of the first
You tune the first chamber using only one port and required size for the driver, then add a port coming off the chamber identical going to the 2nd. Chamber that is 1/2 the cf of the first, then the third identical port exits out of the 2nd chamber
So if the first chamber is 1cf tuned to 30hz there will be 3 identical ports, one exiting the first chamber tuned to 30, one connecting to the 2nd. Hamber that is .5cf and the third port exiting the 2nd chamber tuned one octave higher, in the example 60hz.
When the sub plays below the upper tuning of 60hz the port connecting the larger chamber to the smaller chamber builds up alot of resistance and basically cancels out the 2nd chamber making it only use one port at a time, making it act just like a ported enclosure, then when the lower port has no effect on the sub, the upper tuning can take over and act as a high tuned ported box
It has great output, great bandwidth, but is super large due to 2 chambers and having 3 ports
I built one for a sa8 and it was ok, it was loud from 50hz up but I don't think the port was big enough to dig down to 30hz efficiently
