Default 4th order help!

I see all these guys in suvs doing walled 4th orders but no nonwalled 4ths? I have around 12 cubes to work with and have 2 new xfl 15s that i wanna try this in. I loved the lows and air movement from my pair of 10s in the trunk car 4th i built but not sure how to do the blazers. I kinda wung it on the 10s but it wasnt expensive to test with compared to a 12 cube box. any help would be greatly appreciated. area to use is 24tall 38wide and 32deep

You could do 2 sealed sections, 1 on each side, and a ported section in the middle. Or a sealed section downfiring into a ported section. Or firing into the sealed section towards the roof.

As far as ratio goes... If it was me I would try 4 cubes sealed and 8 ported. I can't find any specs/recommendations for enclosure size so that's kinda just a guess.

yea thats what im having trouble with. ive tried them in 3 cubes sealed a pair and ~5 ported and it didnt work out the way i wanted, but that could of been the way it was setup. im thinking of doing 3.5 sealed to the pair into ~10 ported with 140 sqin of port tuned to 44ish.

I'd try to get a hold of Mike Singer about ratios and design. He probably has more experience with American Bass and Bandpass boxes than anyone I can think of off of the top of my head. Bandpass in general I'd hit him up. Or Surreal.
