Default slot port too many turns?

I was designing a box for an sa-8 and after doing the port tuned to ~32hz I am wondering how many turns in the port are too many?

i dont think there is a limit, just dont shrink the chamber any or it will affect the sub.

ive seen like 5 full 180* bends in a sa8 box before

Small boxes are a PITA to tune low. If you have more than 2 turns, I'd reconsider the design.

I currently have 4 180 degree turns. Just wondering if it would affect the sound in a negative way and if it did would it be noticable to the ear?

With a single 8, I wouldn't sweat it.

as long as you smooth the airflow out as much as possible with 45's, or at least rounding out the inside corners with a roundover bit, there shouldn't be any port noise.
. how much port area are you trying to run anyways?

It's a single 8, man. It's probably like 7sq in of port. Lol. I doubt there's much room for 45's. Roundovers are a great idea though, but it sounds like the box is already built.

It isn't built just designed. There is a 45 in every corner of the port and the are of the port is 18 sq inches.
