Default Two 18's in a town car - Think it will be decent?

Well right now i have just one of my DD 9518's in my 95 town car, but i kinda want to throw them both in there just for the hell of it and see what it sounds like. I can get about 12 cubes before port/sub displacement so i might be a little short on space but shouldnt be too bad, should have close to 10 cubes after port displacement i think..

This is basically what i want to do. Or what i think would work best.

The top part of the box is going to be roughly 52w X 15h X 24d which i think will be enough. Then basically the bottom part of the box that is small is going to be the port which will be 38 x 6 (outside dimensions) And the middle piece on the bottom (port) is just a divider/brace.

I dont know if that will be enough, or too much port or anything tho. It will end up being tuned around 34-38 i dont know exactly yet but its close around there i believe.. And the port will be firing into the rear of the trunk, and it will be somewhat close so that should actually make it a little lower on tuning im guessing? And im not sure how much room i should leave between the subs and the trunk lid.

So just wondering what anyone thinks, i know it may not be the best idea to try and cram these two subs in there but i already have them and i want to do something with them as im not going to be driving my yukon that i had them in.

I would rather do 2 15s in a trunk. There isnt enough airspace for 2 18s

The newer town cars have a much smaller trunk openeing, the opening on the 95 is quite larger where i can fit a bigger box in there.

Well i already have the 18's and im not going to be getting rid of them anytime soon so im going to do with what i have for now.

You would be louder with 1 18. And i mean the airspace inside the trunk for the subs to breath. Not the volume of the enclosure.

its not gonna work very well. you gotta let everything breath. firing the port back with such a huge box is going to choke it off from the cabin.

I dont have two 15's or i would do that. But i have two 18's and i just want to use what i have. Maybe if i fire the port and subs up towards the trunk lid. Or make the box not as deep and put the subs firing to the rear and fire the port towards the front of the car or something of that sort. Then it would have more room to breathe and the air can get into the cabin. The rear deck has a hole cut out of it also

This idea might work better possibly? I have no idea how to calculate the port length for it this way tho.
