Default Single 6" for 2 12's on 4k?

I'll be running a crescendo bc3500 at 0.5 on 2 RD Audio Alpha V2 12's reconed by PSI so roughly 4k or so of power. I was gonna do 4.14 cubes net tuned to 35 hz with a single 6" aero. My question is will a single 6" be fine and will I have any port noise? Vehicle will be a trunk car firing forward sealed off and yes the seats fold down.

ive been asking around and i was told u will get port noise if the port is to close to the back of box like if its 6" u need to stay 6" from wood also same for the port being to close to trim trunk ext outside box, and if u dont have recomended port per sq ft. it may not be right. so check all that

How long do you plan on the port being? I just went through something like this for a trunk box I'm trying to design and have a 6" to work with as well and I'm going to end up doing a kerfed slot port because I can't get enough port area per sq. ft in my box...will be about 3.5 after displacements and for my tuning (30 hz) I can't get past about 7 sq in per ft in my setup. Good luck

How much port area per cubic ft is yours? I've been trying to learn about aeros so I'm gathering as much info as I can get lol...sorry OP, not trying to thread jack but trying to learn

You can probably get by with 6", but honest i like to see an 8" port with that power. (assuming you have the airspace to expend box dimension to accomendate the 8"). I have gone from 6" to 8" and have been much happier with output (especially 3k and above).

4.2 cubes with a single 6" aero is 6.73" per foot. 28.26" total area. 3.5 cubes with a 6" is 8.07" per foot and total area is the same. Keep in mind aeros do not follow the generic "rule of thumb".......

All measurements from Torres Calc.

Right now I have 2 12" psi's in my wifes fusion in 3.75 cubes on a American Bass 100.1 with 2 6" aeros tuned at 33hz firing back....it does decent. Rebuilding to fire forward with 1 6" in 3.5cubes.

i completely agree with this post. i did should have mentioned that i did not have room for a single 8" or i would have gone with that for sure

Port is only 11" long and would be 6" away from back wall.

I can't do a single 8" aeroport. Lowest I could tune is about 40 hz or so and that ain't gonna fly. I wanna stick with a tuning of 32-35 hz if possible. Max dimensions are 36 wide by 16.5 tall x 20 deep. Everything needs to be firing forward. I could do slot ported tuned to 33 hz 4 cubes net with 13 sq in per cube but that would be my max dimensions. I'd like to do aeroported to make the box 2" shorter in depth.
