Default my first ported box, what do you think?

just getting construction all finished on my first attempt at a ported enclosure and i wanted to see what your guys honest opinions where on it... the box is for my FI BL 15 re-coned by PSI with 3 medium 8 inch spiders and CF dust cap. sub rated at 17-2000 RMS.. it will be connected to a crescendo 3kwp at 2 ohm for daily (at least for break in ) over all dimensions are w32xd23xh14 double baffle 3/4 birch sub up port driver side (but with the large trunk in my 04 impala i will be able to turn the box and point the port anywhere) the port is 3 molded 4 inch aeros at 23.5 inches in total length with the port left at this length by my calculations i am left with exactly 3.75 cubes and about 32-33 hz tuning.. initially my plan was to cut all three ports down to around 18 which would put box volume at about 3.9 then i could block one port for daily to drop the tuning but i decided to leave it for now and see how i like it, then i can cut it later if i want.. one question i have is what benefits or losses do i get with more port area?

a few pics thus far

this picture kind of shows the baffle

sounds like a powerful dust cap.

more port = less "port noise".

less port = more "port noise".

Looks good, man. Can we see more of this molded triple 4" aero thing?

Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a double baffle or maybe a dowel in the center of the baffle. That's a lot of sub and power for such a large single panel. I'm not saying it's going to rip it apart, but... it might.

And why the hell are all of your leads red! That would drive me nuts.

You need to post a "build log" on how you did those ports. Lol. That's tight.
