Unhappy Impedance rise....fml

Right now I am on my second box of trying to keep my impedance rise down, and failed miserably. This is for a trunk car, both port and sub facing trunk (I dont want a fwd facing box because all lows are muted unless completely sealed, and dont want to do that)

My first box failed, few people gave me advice to make the box short and wide to help with efficiency. This is for a single 12 btw, box is 2.4cu after all disp. and tuned to 33hz. 13in tall, 35wide, and i believe 22 deep with 47sq in of port.

I am starting at 1 ohm and raising to 5.4 on a m3a, still clamping 1600w tho.

Any ideas on what i could improve on

Aeroport? Possibly a smaller box? That's almost a cubic foot more than DC spec's. What coils does your sub have?

well that would probably make the easiest biggest impact on your rise.

I want to learn how to make a box more efficient, not how to make my amp more inefficient...if I wanted to do that I wouldnt be asking for box design help
