Default Building center consol enclosure, help!

Okay so as most of you truck owners know, its hard to get decently loud without losing seating! I have an idea to build an enclosure / center console, like others have done in the past. I'm just having trouble figuring out how to do it. My idea is to have the console lead from the dash, all they way to the front of the back seat, touching actually, so my middle rear seat will be useless. Should i make the sub down firing, how should i port it? Which way should the port be facing?

My max Dimensions:
15" - Wide
14 3/4" - Tall
43" - long

According to the Torres calculator i have ~4.30^3 before any displacement to work with. Now as far as power, i dont want to do any electrical upgrades, MAYBE a bigger battery under the hood and the big 3. I really dont want to run over 1500watts, so that being said what kind of options do i have for drivers? I would really like them upfiring, i wont have little kids in my truck so i dont have to worry about them being exposed and possibly getting damaged. I was thinking 1 beast 12, or maybe 2 sa-10's (or something along the lines) maybe some 8's? im sure you guys will have tons of idea's as far as drivers, and number of drivers to use.

This is just a quick design i threw together, 1-12" sub up, port back (firing under the back seat) tell me what you think.

And then ont eh front half of the box will do a little bit of fiber glassing, for my volt meter, bass, knob and cup holders.

I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

I'm running 2 Skar vvx10s in a center console box in my gmc sierra. They are in a 3 cu ft box tuned 35 hrtz. I was really impressed with the subs. They r running on a saz1500 at 1 ohm. I have big 3 and a 200 amp alt. Good enough for a 143.0. My build log is on here if I can figure out how to link the thread

after continuing further, i ran into a problem, to design the box this way, the port is going to butt up against the seat.....so now what? port to the side? if so which side? should i do an aero port? or slot?
