Tbh sealed worked way better for my type es. I had a box tuned to 30 hz and it would still bottom out below 33 hz or so. In the sealed I didn't have a problem and it would play down low.

They can do ported, but you have to be careful. Make a box on the smaller side and with less port area

I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

Well rock does have a lil higher bass notes so if u tune low then u might not pick up the higher bass notes as well, u can do 2.25 cubes net n 1 6" aero tuned to 34hz, but pry wont play lows without bottoming out, or u can do a sealed box fpr a flatter response n the sealed box will help u from over excursion on them lows, maybe get a 3rd 10 :-)

1 4" aero would be good for 1 10 in a 1 cubic foot box net(after port, brace, n sub displacement), if u can get a 2nd aero then u can do 2 cubes net n 2 4" aeros around 33-35hz

Having experience with these subs, I'd say 2 cubes with your 4" aero tuned to 35 hz. You'll get good output with that tuning.

6 inches of port area per cube though?, i know their type Es but they r much better than walmart crap, that just seems like such tiny port area to get the max out of the subs
