Default Box Building use 45s or no?

So I see a lot of people do 45s and I have before but some people arent using 45s too.

Do you use 45s in your corners on slot port boxes and do you use a 45 in the L port bend?

I have so far on my slot port boxes and I would assume doing 45s in corners and especially in the bend of the L port to help airflow?

Is there really any reason that not using 45s would be better?

Using 45s and not using them completely changes how the box works

Both work either way, but if you want to use 45s, you need to design it that way or it will mess up the airflow and waves of the subs

This is what I have done in the past. Would this be correct or incorrect use of 45s?

Completely changes it? Care to expound on that? And how you design it that way so it doesn't mess up the airflow and waves?

Alright maybe i was being a little drastic,

It does not completely change it,

But let's use my box for example.

If i didnt use 45s,
It wouldn't have the correct back-wave profile from what I designed, thus won't do as I designed it to, losing output, and adding vent length, meaning that the Front Wave, from the woofers, and the backwave from the vent, won't be as I modeled it, and that was optimal.

Have you tested it with and without the 45's to verify that? What "back wave profile" are you talking about? Is this something you modeled up? How much vent length would it add?

Also, how's that sub closer to the port doing? It has to be loading like crazy.
