i need a little help with a box design for a 2001 honda accord 4th order trunk build the max size is 36" deep-14" high-36" wide what ratio would be best for 3 american bass xfl 10s d4s for the most output how much sealed and ported and about how much port

Those subs aren't really suited for a 4th order.

But I'd do 0.5-0.8 cbft for each woofer so, 1.5-2.4 sealed total. If you want more musical and utilize minimal air space, 2:1; more output sacrificing more air space, 3:1.

SA-10's and 12's would work better.

You're just going for numbers?

Obviously a smaller ported enclosure ported freq near peak freq. Or a horn enclosure with tuning relatively the same.

If it's the best of both worlds i.e. daily/SPL, then a quasi 6th order BP.

How much air space can you afford to lose?

I was told in a trunk get closer to a 1:1.5 ratio with the xfl 10s. .6 sealed each and 1 ported each

Not saying it won't work, but it would work better in a different type of enclosure. I'd do a 6th order instead of a 4th.

Not the only one.

I think he means the only sub that would work?

Why don't you download Win ISD Beta and input a few drivers?--it will tell you their recommend enclosure and you'll get the idea of what t/s parameters are for if you don't already know.
