Default 2 Warden 18's box help

ok here is a pic of the inside dimensions of the box, this box is mounted to the ceiling of a truck. subs are on the bottom of the box firing down into the cab. the curved part goes towards front windsheild. i have never done areo ports, but i think i might on this box. i need it to be a ground pounder. as far as power goes it going to be 1 stetsom 14k for sure, maybe 2 14k's. so how should i do the areo ports, what size and idea on length, should it be completely in the box or half in and half out? any help would be a big help i only have a few days to build it and no time to test bc it needs to get painted and in for a truck show. ohh i also think the box is around 13 cubs before subs and port disp.

You're putting a box on the ceiling? The subs are firing straight down on their heads?

i can build a spl system very well, never used areo ports or built a ground pounder. what kind of numbers do you do for spl. i don't think there anywhere near mine. and when i say around 13 its very close to 13. all i am looking for for is a idea of areo size, amount and length because it is more efficient then a slot or L port. so if you dont have any advice then pipe down

I wouldn't do aeroports personally. If you have the room, why not just do a tried and true design? And how in the hell do you have this mounted to the ceiling? Once loaded with the subs its going to be quite heavy. You got that bish chained up or something?

I ran 18" Wardens for a couple of years and know what they are capable of. I just don't see this working out well for you... The12volt.com has a calculator on it for figuring out port.

2 18's should do well on 4 6" aero's if you want it to sound good, 8 if you want it loud. That's 100sqin of port per sub, would be nasty. How long is dependent on how you want it to play. Nasty on the lows would need a longer port than sounding good on a range of music. 12"l for 34hz or 24"l for a 27hz tune. Face them which ever way looks good to you if SPL doesn't matter, were you going to enter a commercial vehicle in a comp somewhere?

What kind of numbers do I do? Nowhere near what you do. What numbers do I get for the money I spent? Dollars to SPL, probably better than you.

Btw, you spelled "Soundigital" wrong in your own team name, even when it's right there underneath.

Have a nice day.
