Should be good with that. Personally I'd go for an upright port on drivers side or expand the height and shrink the width a bit on the one you've got, it's fairly slim. 17.25w x 4h would be better.

^^Agreed. 1:8 port ratio is a bit thin. Other then that it looks great. Report back on those subs, I'm interested to see what you can get out of them.

Ok thanks. There not mine but it's for a local guy. These are replacing
2 12" Type Rs in a prefab. Gonna be ran on low power for a bit and hopefully owner can find another sundown 1000 to strap.

Quick question: if I wanted to add 45s in the 4 corners how much displacement would the make up and what's the normal dimensions of a 45?

I 2nd the port
1:8 port Hight to width is on the edge some say it should be 1:6

But 45's if you do 1 of them will take up 1/2 of LxWxH
So 4 would take up 2x (LxWxH)

And 45's can be as small or as large as you want they are a great way to add strength, shrink a box that's too big, and help air flow at times

I kinda feel stupid for asking about displacement lol. Brains just not working this early for me lol.

So best bet is to put 45s in the 4 vertical corners correct?

That does help
It probably would help more to put them on the longer horizontal way but it's up to you

Most likely .181 displacement ( Here's a site you can use for calculating the displacement: Enclosure Volume Calculator (EVC) ) <---Scroll all the way to the bottom after calculating your corners and put it into the converter. Then put it in the bracing tab in Torres.

I can explain in further details if you are confused about it.

My opinion on the box: Port area is too low *I like to keep my port area b/w 14~16*, Port ratio is way too big. (Made one similar to that, cept it was 1:9...did fine for 8 12" subs...but it has to be rebuild soon) won't ever make that mistake again.
