Default SA-12 fiberglass box

im building a fiberglass box for the side of the trunk in my g8, i made the back shell so far. what volume should make it? should i make it ported or sealed? someone help me with the specs im looking for sql. running at 2 ohm by an aq1200

1.5 - 2 cubes @ 35hz is recomendation from sundown

id say 2cubes if i was you.....lower power setups usually require more airspace to reach ideal output

just bc your amp specs are over rms..doesnt mean you will be seeing that power.. gotta account for impedance rise voltage drop etc..
staying around the 600 to 800w rms range stay in the 1.8 to 2cubic foot range.. use 12 to 16" of port per cube (i like 14" per best)
and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS do the big 3 upgrade

if i plan on changing to 1 ohm in the future should i make it like 1.6? what do you mean 14"? calculator says Vb=1.6 tuned at 35hz port D=3 inch L=7.5 inch.

efficiency drops quite a bit @ 1ohm u wont gain alot more from that

now if u had a AQ2200 @ 1ohm on it then id say 1.3-1.5 net but after rise and all with that aq1200 i bet u see 800 tops
