Default bookshelf style enlosures

What are the basics in designing bookshelf style enclosures for car audio components?

What volume?
port or not?

Every one I have seen were ported. The two pairs I have in my basement are 0.2 cu ft @ 45hz for 5.25s and 0.4 cu ft @ 45 hz for 6.5s.

I havent decided which size ill be using yet but leaning towards 5.25s just for size reasons. Do you have any pics of yours?

My guess is you will have to tune higher because the fs will be higher. Also probably wont need as much port because they wont have the kind of xmax that subs would. And no pics. Not at my house.
