So, I just ordered 2 AQ SDC2.5 15's, and an AQ1200 to power them, and my dilemma now is, I don't know what type of box, and how big I need it.. So looking for some help here, so I can have someone design it for me and I can build it!

I just ordered one to finish my wall too

I've messed with the sd line a lot. They do like bigger boxes. And a tune from 34-37. Anything lower they start sounding sloppy. Unless you keep the port area down. That's just my personal experience though.

get it around 7.8-8.3 ft^3, with around 120-130 in^2 of port tuned to 36ish. it shall wang. thats close to the specs of my last box and i was doing 144's sealed on the dash, and 148's in the kick. it got pretty damn low too.

What were the dimensions? And would that still work if I had them firing up and the port firing up? Don't want them firing towards the hatch in my jeep.

Hopefully there's enough room or I just screwed myself!

they were for my s10, so the dims would most likely be of no use to you.

Oh you should have plenty room. 8 cubic ft isn't a whole lot in a SUV lol. Of course it would be closer to 9.5 ish gross vol.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Just make the box as big as you can and you can switch to aero ports to save space (single 8" or 2 6"). If the box is a bit smaller that's fine too. The smaller the box, the more power the subs can handle and the less efficient the box is. Personally I would upgrade to an AQ2200 or strap another aq1200 to get the most out of your sub.
