Default First wall..Thoughts & Ideas & Port questions

I am going to attempt my first wall, many people think it isn't worth the time with just one single woofer, that may be..

but it is better then what I have now..and I am wanting to achieve a hair trick and doing a wall cuts more then half the cabin space in my car down which gives me a better chance..also gives me a better spot to mount my speakers...

here is my plan..

what is going on in this picture if you're a bit confused, the "B" is the metal base between my front & back door on which I want to attempt to connect my wall too so it doesn't get in the way of my seats.

by doing that I also am able to mount any speakers I have into these side walls.

the subwoofer obviously in the middle I am also thinking of slot vs aero.. I am curious on how you go about doing double ports as in double aero ports, as how do you tune them?

It would look better imo easier and I can make them myself, and with two of them I would have more air moving ( I think..)

i have a wall for a single 18" woofer..its NOT a waste of time if YOU want to do it..period..
and looks like your doing a basic box with trim panels on each side and fill the trim panels with speakers correct?
as for aero ports n such its not that hard to figure out what you neeed or how long they gotta be

Also if anyone could give me some ideas on what type of wood you would recommend & what caulk or what I should use to seal any gaps/holes to the car & to the box/wall.

mdf or birch birch costs more but ALOT lighter
mdf just plain sucks..
and for sealant
use titebond2 woodglue
and liquid nails for sealant

i prefer to fiberglass the corners to add strength as well as making sure its sealed, instead of using caulk

well I was wondering if there was any like tub of something that gets hard as hell that I could use to basically paint/slap on it to seal/fill holes I will probably cover the box with carpet/fur anyway, also do you have any pix or vids of your single wall?

thanks for liking my post..
but anyways..my single 18 wall
i have a 4th order bandpass.. 3 cubes sealed and 7 ported so it takes up a good bit more room than your planning to do..
so far compared to my other systems..its gotta be in the 146 147range (it helps that the port is right beside me..center firing port in the ported section)
