What's listed above is my setup... I went today to speakerbox in huntsville, al to have a box built for my 2000 camaro ss and they built a sealed enclosure in the back hatch and said that this is better for my car and that ported wouldn't sound good and didnt have the room for it...?

i know, i've kindof learned my lesson by taking my equipment to shops... They charged me $50 headunit installation fee, with me already having done the wiring harness and having everything. $75 Wiring fee, and i didn't have enough 0 gauge for everything so they charged me for 18 ft of CCA Stinger 0 gauge which was $150... Add another $175 for the box so i walked out of the shop spending $450 and It isn't even really loud.

they were too lazy to design and make a ported box .

if you get someone thats really good at making boxes online it might be over $150 cause of shipping but its going to be nice as ****

I know, last resort, but probox makes a box for 98-02. Ported. Hell sealed, there are enclosures that will fit in the back on the sides, for cheaper than what you paid for both.

Honestly, to save money, you should take specs from that box and see if you can't do an aero in it. Box looks decent, they just didn't wanna use their heads IMO.

I agree that box looks huge for a sealed box for 2 10s. I just built a bigish box for a pair of 10s 3 cubes @ 34hz with a single 6" aero and it is only 12.25" tall x 28" wide x 24.75" deep, double baffled. Not a big box at all, that sealed box looks bigger.

Post up some measurements to calculate a rough estimate of the net volume that box has and go from there.
