well, i took all of my equip. and mock up box out of the stang, and im starting over with an emphasis on building a loud sql/spl daily driver, so im inclined to get as many opinions as possible on an ideal box size and tuning for my adire subs, the old box was a 5.5cuft slot ported wedge tuned to around 32hz, i dont know exactly where it peaked at but by ear it was around 30hz, im not asking for design specifics, just displacement, port area and length, and placement of drivers,.... im a carpenter by trade so i can extrapolate and build a design with ease with only those 4 factors i need....
im going slot, ported tuned to near fs, with bout 800w rms per driver and am unsure if i should do seperate enclosures or a common chamber, dual port or single on the common chamber, reason i ask these about the box is due to using 1" lexan for the baffle/s and rear, possibly even so far as to heat the lexan to form bends
the driver specs are; 12" adire audio mkIV brahma d4
