Default let me know if its right

im trying to use bass box pro 6 im not sure i did it right let me know.
the box will be 17.5 high, 42 wide, 19 deep. .75 thickness 3/4 wood.port would be 3 high 20 long 12.73 deep willit be tuned to 40 hz and 6 cu. ft. ??

This will help you with everything you need. Funny thing about BB6P is that you have to remove the "extra" wood that it thinks you use for the port. Look at the parts list... hmmm, see the extra boards for the port (sides and extra for bottom), have to remove them from the equation. The measurements minus port displacement will give you 6cu ft. With the port about 12.75" long it's tuned closer to 37.5hz.... Not sure how you intend on placing the port usually you would have to go with one of the box dimensions (17.5 gives a port of 16") x ? wide. I'd change port from 3x20 to 16" x 3.5 or something depending on how much port area your looking for.

i just did that to try to figure this programe out the box will prouble be alot diffrent. i type 40 in the hz slot so i thought it would figure it out after i put 1 mesurmant in. its not as easy as i thought

by the way that helps big time how do u figure out port area also cu ft after subs and port. also im trying to get good numbers and good daily, so does it mater do u need more port or less

Gee, maybe I should make a BB6P sticky, lol. Your not the first person I've seen with problems. I've been using BB6P for years so it's just sort of second nature to me.

Here is another good box building link. Doesn't get much easier than this one! Just have to account for the little extra volume for sub displacement and bracing. Everything else this will do for you.
