Default XFL 1544 Recommended Enclosure

Hey guys! Hope this is in the right section. Just purchased a new American Bass XFL 15 D4. Only going to be putting 600wrms to it for the time being and wanted to do a ported box.

I cannot find any recommended enclosure size, recommended tuning, or displacement of the speaker. Hoping someone on here has these or can give me a little advice on gross cubes I should be shooting for and port tuning since only being powered by 600w rms. For the time being the box will be just tossed in the back seat of my Silverado ext cab until I get another 15, amp, take that backseat out, and make a half wall.

Thanks in advance!!

So around 3cu ft even with being on such low power?

I can't seem to get a box in the calculator to hit 35" of port area while staying in the port range and making around 3 cu ft after speaker displacement.

The recommended size for this sub is 2.5 so 3 is still pretty good. mine are about 3.2 tuned to 36hz and hit hard!

Sheesh, I would do 5 cubes at 33-34 hz with that power.

Meh but if he upgrades his amp all of a sudden then that's way too much space

Stick with this...just built a box for two XFL with these specs and sounded great, handled power well, and still played down into the mid 20's easily...

Not too much, they'll run on 4-4.5 cubes all day.
