Default 9515i 4th or 6th

A customer is bringing me 4dd 9515i and a cadallic ext. Definatly doing a blow through but im not to familiar with these subs from what i can tell spec wise the motor is decent and suspension is stiff. but specs are just specs how do they do in the real world with real power? Anyine done 4th with these?

I was told the i series soft parts are 4th order friendly. 6th order will definately work.

Same here. I think either would work well with the i series; especially in the 15/18 sizes.

Alright then looks like ill shoot for a 4th with a nice ratio. they rate em at 1500 but what will they rally take ?

Depends for how long you're dishing it out and how clean the power is. For full-length song demos: don't go above 2k clean. For 30-second demos: 3k. 5-second burps: who knows? Just a general guideline.

Probably keep in the low 2k range per on paper and let the rise work out the rest in that case.

this is 4 9518s in a 6th order i built on one m4a. haven't tried them in a 4th but are beast in a 6th.

I have an old f series motor with an I basket aaSnd parts and I like it, I usee a old silver m3 at .5 and I am not nice to it. It takes a full clip for a whole 2 minutes in the low 12v range before it starts to stink. Now I want to do a 4th...
