Default box help please

ok so i am new to the caraudio classifieds
im am sure this thread is been posted numerous times
im building a box for my sa 12 and i know most ppl are going to say this is a spl sub only and should be used only in ported enclosure. but im wondering about sealed.anyone heard it and how many cubes the sealed box was 1 cube just seems too small for this beast.
i want to go sealed but im just trying to figure out the cubic feet the box should be and what sounds good.

i just want the sound to be loud!!! yet keep a clean vibe nice little kick.

thanks for any input

lol whoever told you that info is really wrong..
sa's work GREAT in sealed boxes
there is tons of them in sealed boxes and 4th orders ( which contain a sealed side)
and you have to account for the woofer consumption too..
i did a box for a sa 12 awhile ago and i just did 1.2 cubes sealed and it did great ( 1.2 cubes before the woofer went in)

The 12 and 15" version do okay in sealed enclosures. I'd do 1.5cf in sealed. Get a little extra output below 40hz.

The 8 and 10" aren't as good. They roll off too quickly. Not that you couldn't use them that way, but there are definitely other subs that will perform much better in sealed boxes.

then your making a shitty ported box lol
plain n simple.
if you want loud.. sealed is going to cut ALOT of output down
and with 1000w it better be real clean and smart power..otherwise that woofer wont last long at all..

i was gonna try to build a box to 1.75 cubes tuned to 31
wouldnt that still hit clean and tight and still carry out low freq.
and the amp is a pretty good amp
us amps does a good job with there amps but i thinks 800 is safe for the sub
tune the gain a lil bit
