Default 04 cavalier trunk build single 18"

Ne one have ne ideas on a build. I plan on puttn my nightshade v2 18 facing forward with a 10" port. Sealed off from trunk so my cabin space is smaller. Box needs to be around 6 cubes after defuctions. Limitations on box size is 34 wide and 17tall. Top plate 28 deep n bottom plate 34 deep so the sub will have a slight slant to it but way better than it firing torwads the trunk lid. Ne input is appreciated. Thanks. Once again my car is a 2004 chevy cavalier 4 door. Im runnin a nightshade v2 18 with b3 spiders on a skar 2500 at .5 ohm clamped about 3300 watts

Not sure how you intend on fitting that facing forward with only 17" of height. The opening for that trunk is only like 16" tall and is pretty important to the structural integrity of the car. I would go with a single 15. And plan on building inside of the vehicle or cutting sheet metal. Largest i could get in my sunfire trunk without building inside was a 4.5ish cube box.

Fiberglass tub in the spare tire well and you will be building piece by piece in the trunk. It can be done, I did it in a 94 accord. Not sure if your spare tire well comes forward far enough.

Stick to 2 12s or a 15.

An 18 in an ideal optimal box just wont happen in that trunk, got a friend who is dieing to put an 18 in a 97 Cavalier 4 door and it just cant happen.. at least if you plan on keeping a fully functional back seat.

Stick with a pair of 12s. Subs firing forward into the cabin. Ported sideways into the driver side wheel well. Prepare to be amazed.

I seen an 18 in a trunk if a cavalier on youtube. I was thinkn maybe to slant the front baffle so tht a 20" baffle would fit in 16" of height. The port would have to be a bit external of course. Here the link of tht cavalier i seen on youtube

My girl has a 04 cav and they biggest box i could do is 5 maybe 5.5 cubes. And it just fits. I have about 6 ins from the back of the trunk.
I wish u luck man i would like to see one in a trunk of a cav doing some good numbers.
