Default Ford ranger blowthrough help

So im goin friday to pick up a bed cover finally, and i wana do a blowthrough, i have 2 15" ssa XCONS and a cactus sounds k5 for power. Idk nothing bout blow throughs would like some form of a 4th or a 6th order. If anyone could give assistance on designing a box that would be awesome along with how big of a hole ill need in the truck lol

Where did you get the accordion boot? And how long and wide of one did you get? Im thinkin my cut out is gona be in the 40wide by like 14 or so tall.

Not to stop you but if you have an ext cab there really isnt a need for blowthrough.
Unless u plan on adding more woofers.
Plus side is you can fit batts and amps in the bed now

i would cut out as much as you can, and that way you have room to go bigger int eh future. you can always build beauty panels to take up the extra space. and google accordion boot. most trucking websites have them

Yea i no i dont need a blowthrough but would be nice to.have a big system and not loose seat room and be uncomfy....

stay 1/2" below the back window brace and 1/2" above the bottom of the bed.
This leaves you with about a 13" tall opening.

stay 1/2" away from each inside cab corner trim panel.
this leaves you with about a 34" wide opening.

mark your corners using a 3" circle.
this makes wrapping the boot easier.

using an air powered 'body saw' is the safest/easiest way to cut the metal. {no sparks}
