Over the next few days I will be doing the enclosure build for my friends Del Sol. I already have a design figured up and I was just wondering if anybody had any input on it.
It will be going in the cabin of the car...subs up/ports up below the window line. The rear speakers are in the corners of back cabin area, and the enclosure will fit exactly between the 2 speaker grills, leaving them open to produce sound still.
This will be my first enclosure like this, and my first slot port of my own design, but basically it will be close to 1.5 cubes before displacement tuned at 33hz, subs up ports up behind the seats of a Del Sol, below the window line. The box will harbor a pair of JL audio 8w0's.
Does anybody have any input on how you think this will sound, or how I could design it any better? Complaints, critisisms? please be honest, thanks.
