Default 2 sundows

ok im sure the topic has been started a gazillion times. ive got 2 d4 sa12s and currently ive got them in 2 seperate boxes. one ~2.2 with a 12.5x2.5 38" long the other ~3.2 with a 6" aero 18" long. im getting some odd cancellation issues in the lowend and i believe its due to the 2 seperate port lengths having different time delays. im running them on a brz1700 at 1ohm. im thinking run them both inverted in the larger box common chamber and tune it around 30hz subs up port forward. how does this sound? ive found that LOWES sells 6"x24" green drainage pvc with a thinner wall damn near perfect for PSP aero flares. i plan to buy one of these. im doing a 143.3 at 36 right now w/ 1 window down and over a 142db @38hz sealed up. id like to get a 45 before i go to 15s. i plan to have my trunk glassed in down the road in the summer so this box is also just a temporary setup with foreseen changes in the future.

I have zero problems with people having a shop or other enthusiast do their build. But it's a little disrespectful they take credit for it and/or don't correct people when they assume the owner did the work. Happens all the time.

I'd start off with putting them in the same box, but..... I've been wrong before. Lol.

using 2 boxes wouldn't be bad if they were the same size and same tuning but having 2 different sized boxes with different tunings is almost as bad as running 2 different woofers... save time fooling with the old and build a new box bro.

are you just wanting to do spl and burp at least a 145? if so you can do that with a single sa-12.

You need a solid box design and build.
