Default Box for PSI 10"

I just purchased a PSI Platform 2 10" woofer. Only thing i know for sure is that my target box volume is 1.35. My question is what should i tune my box to and how much port area does this sub like?

My goal is overall output and Id like it to hit nice lows. I listen to mostly hiphop and frequently listen to Decaf.

I will be putting 1200 RMS to it.

If you guys could point my in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

My max dimensions are 24"W 13"H 13"D

Laying it out here and before port(s) displacement is factored in youre starting at 1.3797 cubic feet :/ (I have a double layered baffle layed out on it) so I'm not sure how optimal we can make things. There's no way to go larger? And what vehicle/where in the vehicle will this be?

Maybe we can compromise on the size of the box. Literally can't go any bigger. This is going in a miata lol! Or maybe utilizing areo ports

Yea, aeros will be a must...just a warning that your airspace goal and, most likely, fairly low tuning will be a bit of a stretch.

Well, man...with it being so small, I'm having a hard time fitting an aero/aeros with any real length to them...if theyre in there the woofers dont have room to be mounted (And im just guessing that you dont have the room to invert them). So I went with a small slot port and about the best that I can get is 1.13 cubic feet net @ 36hz...not overly optimal in my mind but could 'work'. For this kind of space I would, personally, run a single 10" in an optimal enclosure.

I think you might have misunderstood me. I have a SINGLE platform 2. 10" subwoofer.

I was playing around with the re box calculator and came up with this.

W 24"
H 12"
D 13"
Square Port Width 1.5"
Square Port Length 10"

I got 1.34 cubes and 34.1 Hz?

Wooooooow...bahaha. My bad, I mustve not been able to read last night... well then, I think things will workout just fine. I'll get back with you tonight.

And yea, with that extra woofer's displacement out of the way that'll be good space for a proper enclosure
