Default 2 DC XL 18s ... aero ports .. quick question

So I have 2 m2 xl 18s .. going to be building a box for them .. I already have 4 psp 6" aeros that I was gonna use for my hdc3 18 but that sub is sittin in my room collecting dust (not a fan of the sound) so I was advised by cody at dc on 5.5 to 5.75 cubes per 18 .. but now im kinda wanting to get some use out of the almost 200 bux of ports I have sitting around so after playing with the box in torres I came up with a box thats a little over 11 cubes with about 10.x sqin of port with the 4 6s .. would that be acceptable? Or would I be better off just tryin to sell the aeros and go slotted to about 14ish sqin?...thanks guys

Thats very interesting since cody the dc rep I buy my stuff said 14ish for a slot and I was under the impression you could get away with a bit less on flared aeros .. hmm.. this may complicate things lol .. it will be subs forward port up in a crew cab truck ran off 2 2200ds strapped at 2ohm aswell for future reference

he's using aero's. he's fine. thats actually on the high side for aero's. should work really well if you can get to your desired tuning in that airspace with 4 ports

According to torres the stock length on them will get me to 33.5ish and I was shootin for 33 .. I doubt for my daily beating I will hear a .5 hz tuning diffence lol ... this is good news I can finally get some use out of these ports and it makes the temporary box much easier to build ... eventually going with 4 xls and a 10k but need to get the eletrical to support it first lol

8-10 per sq. With aeros are ideal. Your gonna love those subs.

So you don't like the sound of the HDC3 and you got DC subs?
