Default 12" Sub Narrow Aero Port Design

I heard from fivedollapizza that you guys know quite a bit more than a thing or two:
I have a question about an aero port.
I am going to purchase this sub (12" 1000RMS). It has an "ideal ported volume of 1.2 cu. ft." My back seat is inclined at 17.5 degrees from vertical.
I would like to use a flared, aero port b/c I think it will be easier to build, just drill a hole and go. A rectangular port, however, would help me meet my "small box width" requirement. An aero port makes my box real wide if I flare the port. I could put the port above the sub, but IDK how the incline would effect that.
I want to tune to 30hz (32 once the sub volume is accounted for).
I have so much running through my head I can't figure out where to go.

I want 1.2 cu. ft. I want tuned to 32 hz. I want something that is as narrow as possible. I want to figure it out but I can't.
Help is appreciated.

You don't have to use an aero port. If its big enough you can use PVC pipe the same diameter as the aero you planned on using. I did this for a box playing over 150db and no odd noises.

I don't know the air speed and want to avoid chuffing with the flaring. 2" seems like a fairly small port and would lend itself to that. I have the length to fit a 2.5" diameter, but that still seems kinda small. My main goal with the flair to to avoid port noise. But again, I have no real idea what I am doing.

3" makes the port 10" and change. the floor of the box is 11.875" deep at a 17.5 degree angle. That seems like that is cutting it pretty close. Just under an inch of clearance between the top of the tube and the inclined rear of the box.

I though about sealed, cause this is my first box after all, but I like the punch and depth of a ported box. Pioneer recommends a 3" diameter 3.5" long port for this sub, but that tunes it to the mid 50hz area. I want something deeper. What's the point of going ported except for punch and super low lows? (That was actually a questions, because that is all I can think of)

3" aero for the size box you're using. i'd use regular 3" PVC drain tube and round over the edge (will require recessing the ring into baffle), that way you get the flare with out the size.

id make the box a TAD larger and go with a 4" pvc pipe or aero
thats 12.5sq inches of port
any real woofer thats 1000w rms is going to have a decent amount of xmax..and move air..
i feel with a 3" you will have a good amoiunt of port noise..UNLESS you do buy a actual aeroport

However, this, and any 3" tube, would require putting the tube under the sub. For strength, I feel like I would have to double thickness the face (.75" double to 1.5"). I would probably do the sides too for extra security.

If I did the 2", it is only 4" long, then it fits above the sub (the incline causes the depth to go from 11.875" at the bottom to 9" at the top)
