Talking Changing from sealed to ported 2 15's

The Subs are 15" JL W3V2 D4's X 2, Amps for now are MA Audio 589i x 2 so probably around 300w per sub....

The box has an angled front but I did the math and got 6.325 cubes. After taking all of the 3/4 wood its made of away.

External it is
15' tall
34' wide
28' on the bottom
23 1/4 on the top

Internal after I made it square on the front
13.5 tall
31.75 Wide
25.5' Top and Bottom

I would like to find out fhe length and width of two ports, one for each chamber.
I can make a square port if it would be best but I can pop in circle ports easier and faster for now. This enclosure is not a forever enclosure, none of them are!!

PLease Help out

Thanks
Steven "SGTSKiP"

Default I found it

I googled and found the owners manuel, it says 2 ports 3" by 11 inches long per chamber. The box is about 1/2 a cube smaller than recomended but I'll add some fiberfill in to fool it.

Im waiting for my Surround repair kit to get here

Lightbulb UPDATE... A few months late..... ok 6 Months

.
.
.
.
.
I FIXED IT, that weekend, but never put the pics up ......

so here they are.... better late than never No beers were harmed in the update of this box...

I glued the ports in and then sealed them on the inside. I also added some fiber fill to it. I went ghetto and sprayed the box black cause it rides in the back of my van, and I wanted to hide the lines I had drawn to do the ports, but my woman covered it with a blanket and you don't see it through the tinted windows....

thanks for looking

Sooo....you took your old sealed box and put some pvc ports in it is that what I'm seeing??

Not sure that's gonna work...because sealed and ported boxes have diff cubic ft from each other.
